Rachel Moore sent us a gorgeous, intimate wedding from this past December. From the classy fur wrap to the lighted Christmas trees, it was the perfect setting for this sweet love story!
Alex and Victoria’s story starts way back in high school where they met. After 6 years of dating, Alex proposed to Victoria on the Natchez Trace. A few miles down the road and several months later, they celebrated their marriage with friends and family at the Loveless Barn on a chilly December night. My favorite part of this winter wedding was taking photos of Alex and Tori in a Christmas tree lot after dark. The only light we had was the glistening Christmas lights hanging above them. Christmas music was playing in the background, and it was their first time alone that day. It was magical!

I’m sure you’re all wondering if my Hubby and I got that ceiling that I keep going on about up. The short answer is no and a little bit longer answer is that the furring strips, what the ceiling drywall get’s attached to, are not level which means painstakingly leveling each one. Did I mention there’s a billion of them? Those who know me know that I have a patience level of about -5. That means my dear Hubby and buddy will be taking on that task this weekend while I head off to the spa. Enough of my disappointments! Let’s take our mind off things with a dandy of a Engagement Session sent over by the always lovely, Rachel Moore Photography! Read more…

From Rachel: For this wedding I got to fly up to Maryland to see my sweet friend Cait get married! It was an incredibly beautiful fall weekend, and my first time on the Chesapeake Bay. Cait and Chase’s friends, family, and a ton of out of town guests gathered around for a weekend full of festivities. Read more…

October is the new May. No really. It is THE most popular month to get married in the south. This garden wedding, photographed by Rachel Moore Photography, features a stunning venue, a handsome couple, and crisp elegant details.
From Rachel~ “This was my first wedding at Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville. Even for this mid-October wedding, everything was in bloom and gorgeous. Doreen and Rob’s ceremony was in a garden, with colorful blooms surrounding them and the sun shining down on them. Read more…

Today we’re sharing yet another beautiful wedding by the lovely Rachel Moore Photography. I am in LOVE with the way the black and white film shots contrast against the colored digitals.
