This is a special Thursday because I have the pleasure of showing off Something Detailed‘s 2013 invitation collection! Aside from being one of Style Me Pretty’s 2012 Little Black Book Members, and a Wedding Wire 2013 Bride’s Choice Award winner, Something Detailed is constantly innovating her stationary and wowing us and brides with her gorgeous custom designs! Enjoy!

From Jennifer Faught (owner and designer):We are happy to announce our 2013 Wedding Invitation Suite Collection! The collection includes 12 of our favorite designs from the past and new designs for 2013. Each design offers a full suite of wedding invitation pieces – save the date, invitation, reply card, second enclosure, envelopes, place card, program, table numbers and envelope printing.

Each suite can be personalized by choosing one of the color shades offered, or customizing with your perfect wedding colors and/or font. Upgrades to make your wedding invitation extra special include, lux envelopes, lux paper, envelope liners, custom envelope printing or shimmery card stock.

Your paper goods can introduce a theme, colors, or even just an overall feel of what your wedding will be like. This past January, the US Postal Service raised its postage rates. It’s not much, even if you are sending out 300 invitations, but there are some other things to take into consideration when budgeting for wedding stationery that will have an effect on your budget.

So many brides forget to include postage in their stationery budgets. Not only for invitations, but for all the thank you notes as well! Postage rates are based on certain criteria like weight, size and shape. How much postage you pay depends on your invitation design. Read more…
