This DIY Friday is not only a great one for your wedding but it’s also a great gift idea for your Maids and can even be used in your home after the wedding. Image via Claire of Fellow Fellow on Say Yes To Hoboken

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Cement powder
• Paper cups to mix cement in
• Wooden sticks to stir cement mix
• Coins
• Petroleum Jelly (or cooking spray) – Optional (I’m not sure how much it helps)
• Lace Stickers like these
• A disposable container (plastic, or paper cup) for the outside of your votive
• A smaller disposable container (like a medicine cup), big enough to hold a tea light
• Sandpaper
• Pliers

I always love Love LOVE the window displays as Anthropologie. I think they are so simple, they make a huge impact, and they often translate to events VERY well! This DIY is perfect for an alter backdrop or even the backdrop of a photo booth setup. It’s easy to personalize with your colors. Happy Friday lovlies! I hope that you got treated like the sweeties you are yesterday and that you gave a little sweetness in return. Hubby surprised me Wednesday night with dinner at a sweet little restaurant and then a performance at the Tennessee Theater.  We’re not usually big Valentines day celebrators but this year it did give us an excuse to treat ourselves to some yummy food and the performance just happened to fall the day before. For those of you who got something a little sparkly yesterday, Congratulations! We can’t wait to help you with your big day!

Each event is customized to fit the style and vision of the bride to make her day magical. Savoir Faire made its bridal show debut at this January’s Pink Bride Show!

Melissa describes her first bridal show experience as a designer:
