One of my very best girlfriends and I were chatting about a recent friends wedding the other day. I told her that, if I could do it all over again, I’d do something small, simple, and outside perhaps in Breckenridge, Co a place both my hubby and I adore. She responded by saying everyone she knew, that had been married for a few years, say the same thing. I think it’s important to remember, what with social media, blogs, and Pinterest that no matter what style of wedding you have, there will always be something you would have changed later on. Don’t second guess your choices. Make this wedding reflect you and your hubby-to-be’s style now . Know that there will always be things you’ll look back on and ,as you grow and change as couple, would have changed had you known where your lives would go. Just for fun, this is how my wedding would look today:

Our wedding was inspired by who we were at the time. We were city dwellers and our style was quite a bit more polished. We’re now moving into a more relaxed and rustic style. I want to be surrounded by things that comfort us. Our wedding was beautiful, we had a great time, and I will always look back on the day I married my soul mate with the fondest of memories. Would I marry my hubby again? The answer is an enthusiastic YES! Almost five years in and I love him more and more every. single. day.

Peachy, pink or blush if you so choose is all over my radar right now. Not sure why. It’s not Pantone’s Tangerine Tango or even Honeysuckle. Maybe it’s because it’s somewhere in between, only lighter. I’m really digging this color right now. Here’s some of my favorite details. Read more…
