Ashley Raye Hicks
A native of Williamson County, Ashley thrives on the detail, creativity, and expertise it takes to create a remarkable event. Ashley has been instrumental in the planning and success of a number of high-profile fundraisers in Williamson County and is known as a visionary, able to translate a simple idea into a stylish affair.
Realizing a business void in the Nashville area when it came to connecting discriminating brides to respected vendors, Ashley put her expertise and passion into co-founding Wedding 101.
“The goal for every bride is to be fantastic when it comes to uniquely expressing themselves on their special day,” says Ashley. “We thrive on finding exceptional, artistic vendors that can channel the vision of each and every bride.”
Ashley married David in 1994, and is mom to Ellen and Caroline. A former high school teacher, she graduated from Centre College and holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
Tiffany Bordelon-Walsh
Tiffany has been in, planned and coordinated over 20 weddings – only one being her own. She lived in Beverly Hills, CA with her husband, David, for 8 years, working as a professional actress, in event and wedding planning, and partnered in a business making emergency bridal kits. In February of 2011, life moved then to Nashville, where she stumbled upon Ashley and Amy at Wedding 101. Now Tiffany fuses her wedding and entertainment knowledge to help brides create unique and creative weddings that are an expression of themselves.
Tiffany and David are celebrating the newest addition to their family – a bouncing baby boy. He is also known as Wedding 101’s Baby. Aunt Amy and Aunt Ashley are thrilled to have another baby to spoil. Tiffany fully allows it. Tiffany will return from maternity leave in July, ready to jump back into Wedding everything!
Tiffany met her hubby, David, a month before she graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC (BA of Theatre Arts). They married in March of 2003 in Pensacola, FL. Go, ten years!
Ashley Harrison
Born and raised in a small town in Tennessee, Ashley always knew her future would be based in Nashville. She graduated in December of 2012 from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication. After being introduced to the Nashville wedding industry through an internship with Wedding 101 in 2010, it sparked Ashley’s passion for events, especially weddings.
Her drive and eagerness to learn earned her positions with Elliott Events, Historic Cedarwood, and H Three Events all before turning 22. Ashley has been part of the execution of over 75 weddings. Whether it is organizing timelines, coordinating, contacting vendors, hanging drape, or making bridal bouquets, Ashley has had experience from all aspects of the industry.
Two months before her college graduation, on one of her regular visits to the Wedding 101 studio, a little something called fate happened, and she was told to apply for a full time position. Today, Wedding 101 brides and vendors know her as Ashley #2, Harry (Only by Tiffany), “The Other Ashley”, or “The Younger Ashley.”
Heather Burrow
A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Heather has had a passion for weddings for as long as she can remember! While she has been a part of some magnificent weddings, she has to say her favorite was her own. On June 2, 2012, Heather married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Justin Burrow! Recently, they bought their first home together just outside of Murfreesboro. They love spending time with good friends and their new puppy, Tucker!
As a freshman at MTSU, Heather acquired an internship with A Magical Affair, leading to her role as a lead wedding coordinator for over 25 weddings and an assistant coordinator for an additional 50 weddings. Her experience helped her ease into her new Bridal Consultant position at Wedding 101.
Heather absolutely loves sitting down with a bride and planning out all of the details of her wedding. She feels there is something so special about getting to be a part of a couple’s once-in-a-lifetime day!
